House Rules

Our House Rules serve as a reference to our Policies which, in turn, form the Agreements that our clients enter into when they engage with Maison de Prestige and use our services. While not exhaustive, it provides users with a general understanding of the terms and policies that govern our business operations and the services we offer to our clients.

 

This information may be valuable to current or potential clients.

 

Maison de Prestige reserves the right to make all final decisions on services provided and their related costs.

  1. Maison de Prestige provides only legal, ethical, safe, and socially responsible services.

  2. All prices are quoted and listed in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes will apply.

  3. Prices are subject to change without notice.

  4. Local travel time (Oakville, Burlington, and Toronto) and mileage are included in our standard rates, service packages and hourly rates as applicable. Note: Exceptions may apply. Travel expenses, including but not limited to mileage, outside of the Oakville/Burlington/Toronto Area will incur additional fees. Any concierge services that are required outside a 30 km radius will be charged a mileage fee

  5. Payment options include Credit Card, and Interac E-Transfer unless otherwise indicated.

  6. Standard office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday: By Appointment Only 

  7. During our business hours, please use email as the preferred method of contact as messages sent through social media platforms are not monitored for such purposes.

  8. Please note that we require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all service requests. Services will be reserved and performed on a first-come, first-served basis through our booking platform.  We highly recommend that you book services in advance to ensure that your preferred time slot can be accommodated. Kindly note that same-day, last-minute or urgent requests may be possible, but this will be subject to the availability of scheduling, staff, and resources. 

  9. For a la carte services, there is a three-hour minimum charge that will be billed. After the minimum charge is met, rates will be billed in 15-minute increments thereafter. 

  10. Services requested outside of regular business hours will be subject to a surcharge or premium rate unless they are certain pre-arranged services such as house sitting, home watch, or vacation services. We will notify you if a service requested outside of regular business hours will be subject to a surcharge or premium rate.

  11. Please note that services requested during Canadian statutory or civic holidays will also be subject to a surcharge or premium hourly rate. We will communicate this rate to you in advance for your approval prior to booking and confirming the service request.       

  12. If the Client requires services that involve accessing a personal, vacation or business residence or property, it is necessary to arrange access to the property in advance for Maison de Prestige. In case Maison de Prestige is unable to gain access to the property for any reason, the client will be charged the full amount for the service(s). The client(s) can choose from a variety of options to arrange for service access to the property, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance before initiating the task or service request.
